We will work to repair harm and damaged relationships. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Pluralism<\/strong><br \/>\nWe are all sacred beings, diverse in culture, experience, and theology. <\/p>\n<p>We covenant to learn from one another in our free and responsible search<br \/>\nfor truth and meaning.  We embrace our differences and commonalities<br \/>\nwith Love, curiosity and respect.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Justice<\/strong><br \/>\nWe work to be diverse multicultural Beloved Communities where all feel<br \/>\nwelcome and can thrive.<\/p>\n<p>We covenant to dismantle racism and all forms of systemic oppression.<br \/>\nWe support the use of inclusive democratic processes to make decisions<br \/>\nwithin our congregations, our Association and society at large.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Transformation<\/strong><br \/>\nWe adapt to the changing world.<\/p>\n<p>We covenant to collectively transform and grow spiritually and<br \/>\nethically.  Openness to change is fundamental to our Unitarian and<br \/>\nUniversalist heritages never complete and never perfect.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Generosity<\/strong><br \/>\nWe cultivate a spirit of gratitude and hope.<\/p>\n<p>We covenant to freely and compassionately share our faith, presence,<br \/>\nand resources.  Our generosity connects us to one another in<br \/>\nrelationships of interdependence and mutuality.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Equity<\/strong><br \/>\nWe declare that every person is inherently worthy and has the right<br \/>\nto flourish with dignity, love and compassion.<\/p>\n<p>We covenant to use our time, wisdom, attention, and money to build<br \/>\nand sustain fully accessible and inclusive communities. <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><br \/>\n<strong>Inspirations (Sources)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>As Unitarian Universalists, we use, and are inspired by, sacred and secular understandings that help us to live our values.  We respect the histories contexts and cultures in which they were created and are currently practiced.<\/p>\n<p>These sources ground us and sustain us in ordinary, difficult, and joyous times.  Grateful for the religious ancestries we inherit and the diversity which enriches our faith, we are called to ever deepen and expand our wisdom.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inclusion<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Systems of power, privilege, and oppression have traditionally created barriers for persons and groups with particular identities, ages, abilities, and histories.  we pledge to replace such barriers with ever-widening circles of solidarity and mutual respect.  We strive to be an association of congregations that truly welcome all persons who share our values.
